Finding out which way to go today seems to be getting easier. You can get a portable GPS unit, your phone can tell you which way to turn before you get lost and Google Maps gives you a satellite image of your directions door-to-door. Unfortunately many people are showing up at their destination and they are still lost…spiritually lost. They are searching for more and everything the world offers just does not seem to cut it and as a student it is even harder to figure out the way you should go!
That is where The Compass comes in, a place for students to connect with one another, but more importantly for them to connect with the creator of the universe – God. Our goal is to help you see more clearly the fact that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and created for a purpose. We are not talking about filling a seat or being one more number in a youth group but actually helping you to understand who God is and why you are important to Him.
We also are about helping you meet others on this same journey. We provide an opportunity for you to connect with students and leaders in your area and develop relationships that will last long beyond Middle School and High School.
Currently we are meeting and worshiping with the rest of the people at Northwest on Sunday morning and having other meetings twice per month.
