Life Groups - The Heartbeat of NWCC
Life Groups are designed to support the members in the details of Christ-like living in a fallen world. Every life group offers a comfortable setting for God's people to learn to be more like Him, to evaluate every day challenges and opportunities in light of His revelation of the truth.
While Life Groups study God's word regularly, a Life Group is not just a Bible study. Life Groups provide an atmosphere to foster close personal relationships as a basis for personal growth and spiritual friendship. Life Groups exercise all of the gifts which God has given the church and provide the basis for our outreach, service, caring, and mercy, while provide a nurturing community to bring the interested friend or new believer.
Life doesn't always seem fair. Life Groups are there to help pick up the pieces or work through the difficulties. Life Group members will pray with you and give you things to pray about. Life Groups may well be God's means for you to "stand up under temptation." (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Life Groups are:
- Small groups of families and singles meeting in homes
- For studying the Bible
- An opportunity to know and care for each other
- For praying together
- A good place to invite new friends and those interested in learning about God.
- For introducing others to Jesus and reaching out through service projects
